Homemade Remineralizing Toothpaste with Bentonite Clay
This homemade remineralizing toothpaste with bentonite clays recipe can be whipped up in minutes and stores well for months. It is a natural alternative to conventional toothpaste and works to restore balance to the mouth microbiome.

Equipment
- 4 1.69 oz glass jars
- Glass mixing bowl
- Wooden spoon or spatula
- Kettle
Materials
- 13 tsp bentonite clay heaped
- 4 tsp himalayan salt
- 100 grams hot filtered water
- 5 tsp coconut oil
- 16 drops Cinnamon Essential Oil
- 12 drops Frankenscense Essential Oil
- 20 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl add the bentonite clay
- heat water and pour into another small bowl and add salt and coconut oil
- Add wet ingredients to the bentonite clay (don't mix yet)
- Add all the essential oils
- Mix very well until you make a paste
- If the mixture is too wet add small amounts of bentonite clay, if it's too dry add small amounts of warm filtered water
- Mix until you have the deisred texture and scoop and pack into jars
- Seals jars with lids and label (optional)
